2 months before graduation from junior high

One night, I was puzzled why my cellphone wouldn't work.
John was playing with Lego and spared a look at me and said
"wipe your hand dry and try again"
He also explained in details that my hands were wet and the humidity would cause some trouble.....
(I couldn't recall exactly what he said, since it simply goes beyond me)
Somehow I followed his advice and dried my hands
I tried again, and it worked.
I thanked him with great admiration.

A couple of weeks ago, I told him that I was going to make a PPT about the history of basketball and asked him to first search for some information for me.  He helped me make the first draft of the PPT, which saved me quite some time.

At times, his Dad would be very upset about his clumsiness.  Indeed, he is by far skillful in many things.  But I do find him very helpful as years go by.  And I do not hesitate to praise him for the things he's done for me and  grandnie--taking out the garbage, moving things up and down, running errands like purchasing some rice, delivering things around the neighborhood, answering the phone, calling his Dad...

With my left knee getting weaker, his strong knees have been of great help to me.  In spite of some mild complaint and grumbling, he runs errands for me going upstairs or downstairs many times daily.

Two days ago, I came to Taipei.
When I tried to answer some emails, the net service stop working.
There was one email I did not get to answer
I called John and asked him to answer that email for me back in Tainan

This afternoon I checked my email and saw his reply (for me)

dear Vicky,
I`m in taipei now and the computer is broken,so I can`t send it to you now.The exam paper will give you at least next monday.
And thank you about worried about my knees and health problem.

Sue

His English is pretty OK, isn't it?  At least it's functional.

I am so grateful to have this boy, a special gift from God
