以前在他校共事的外籍老師的一段post
很有醍醐灌頂的分析和建議
借分享如下：
Comparing children and fools:

What children cannot see, fools ignore.
Children want to have their own way; fools insist on it.
Children do not enjoy discipline; fools despise discipline.
Children cry when they are shamed; fools have no shame.
Children laugh about what they don’t understand; fools mock.
Children are proud of what they know; fools blurt out all they know.
Children need to be protected from danger; fools see danger and keep on going.
The curiosity of children keeps them busy; fools are bored unless someone entertains them.
Children take what interests them from a lesson; fools find fault because they want to appear wiser than the teacher.

How to raise a child to be a fool:

Keep him entertained.
Let him get his own way.
Let him make fun of others.
Let him think he is a genius when he is not.
Let him disrespect teachers and adults.
Let him focus exclusively on his own benefit.
Let him think he is immune to common dangers.
Let him think there is nothing to be ashamed of.
And above all, never discipline him.
